New Baby Roses

Is there anything more joyous in this life than the birth of a child? Sure, it may be a "commonplace miracle" -- but bringing a new human life into this world is a special thing nonetheless, whether the baby's your first or fifth. It's all part of that grand continuity of the human species, the one thing that connects every one of us to that prehistoric Adam and Eve who lived way back when, and points us toward the glorious future that lies ahead.

Does something like this deserve simply an elegant card, or a balloon and teddy bear combo if you're trying to be fancy? We think not! Send along a bouquet of New Baby roses to let the parents know you're celebrating the birth, too. Oh, a card and such are nice, but they just don't have the oomph or decorative pizzazz of a bouquet of fresh cut roses. Now there's a gift that'll get some attention!

Your biggest decision, of course, will be the type and quantity of roses you'd like to send. The price won't be the object you might think it would be -- at least, not if you go with the right vendor. What you need is someone who cuts out the middleman; a company that grows its own roses, cuts them off the bush only when you order them, and immediately gets them on a plane to their destination so they get there as fresh as that new baby. That's a perfect description of Mr. Roses. Send us your order on the Internet, and we'll select prime roses at our Ecuadorian rose farm and have them winging your way in hours -- for about half the price of a traditional florist.

So what's the best rose color for a new baby? White has a lot to recommend it. Being for a new baby and all, it fits right in with that purity and innocence that babies have going for them (although you might change your mind if you've ever seen all the things they can get up to, once they get the handle on that coordination thing). How about pink? That's another color that all but exudes innocence, once again making it worthwhile for baby. One the other hand, a handsome bouquet of green roses would also make a good choice. In classic rose symbolism, green is the color of growth and fertility -- which certainly makes green roses appropriate for a growing family.

That said, warm colors -- orange, yellow, and peach -- aren't a bad decision for New Baby roses, either. They'll signal your approval and warm feeling for the family you send them too. Heck, just about any color of New Baby roses will do, since they're nothing less than a gift from the heart. Colors you might want to avoid, though, are red and purple. For those in the know, they carry romantic connotations that aren't appropriate for New Baby roses -- unless, of course, you're the father sending the roses to the baby's Mom!
