HOW TO PREPARE A ROSE VASE:
- Open the carton around the rose bud
- Cut all the roses at the same size
- Fill the vase with cool and fresh water
- Dissolve in the water the "flower food" included.
- Place the roses in a symmetric way inside the vase, covering all the empty
spaces.
- If you want to add fillers, you can put them inside the vase, they should
be cut lower than the roses. This is to enhance the beauty of roses.
HOW TO PREPARE A FLOWER BASKET:
- Cover a basket with aluminum foil or plastic paper
- Place a green foam in a bucket with cold water for approximately 12
hours.
- Take out the green foam from the water, and place it on the center
of a basket holding it with a string or wire.
- Cut the stems of the roses according to the size of the basket.
- Place the same number of roses in a symmetric way on the green foam.
- Fill the spaces in between of the roses, with "fillers": green
leaves, or baby's breath, or limonium or hypericum. Make sure the
stems of the fillers are lower in size than the stems of the roses.
- You may replace roses with gerberas and follow the same steps.
HOW TO MAKE POT-PURRI:
Remove the petals from the rose, and place in the oven at the minimum
temperature and leave in oven until then are dry. Take out of the petals and
place in a air tight container with aromatic fragrant oils and
cover. Leave in
for about 3 days. The petals will take on the fragrance of the oils you have
chosen.
USE OF PETALS
- You can use petals around the vase of the floral arrangement, using petals
of the same color of the roses used in the arrangement.
- Use fresh rose petals in your bath release rose fragrance to the water.
- You can use petals to cover walk ways
- You can use them to throw in festivities.
