Many customers might not know how is the process of shipping the flowers from a foreign country (grower) and receiving them at their delivery addresses.
Well, here we will try to be as clear as possible with the shipping path once you buy flowers online:
As soon as a client places an order online on our system, we get notified by an email that is generated and sent to our system. The farm then reserves those roses (or flowers) from our stock and starts preparing the order. The shipping process takes at least 4 days in total; here is a brief explanation per day:
Day 1: Order is ready and packed in boxes; buds are protected with cardboard so they won’t get hurt while traveling. Flowers are hydrated and waiting on cold storage to be picked by transportation truck. Then they leave the farm and arrive into the cargo company’s cold storage, that is close to the airport.
Day 2: Flowers fly from Ecuador (where the farm is located) to Miami, usually during night hours.
Day 3: Flowers arrive in Miami, they now go through customs in order to be cleared. Then they get picked up by FedEx (always in cold transportation).
Day 4: Finally, flowers get enrooted from Miami to its final destinations in the USA, to be delivered to the recipients addresses.
During all this process fresh flowers have to be maintained in cold; temperature can’t be higher than 37.4 degree Fahrenheit for roses to be in optimal conditions before they are delivered to its final destinations.
